1. Dress for color. The paint mist is fine and mostly lands where it should — but 'mostly' is doing some work in that sentence. Wear something you won't cry over, or just use the aprons we provide.
2. Don't bring a plan, bring a theme. The best first pieces come from a mood — 'sunset', 'ocean', 'galaxy' — not a detailed picture you're trying to copy. The airbrush rewards flow over precision on day one.
3. Trust the distance. Beginners instinctively get closer to the canvas for control. Counterintuitively, backing up a few centimeters gives you softer, more professional results. It's the first thing we'll remind you of, about forty times.
4. Layers, not lines. Airbrush art is built up in translucent passes. The piece looks like nothing... looks like nothing... and then suddenly looks amazing. Don't judge your work until the final layer.
5. Come to enjoy, not to perform. Our whole mission is helping people relax through art and discover a talent they didn't know they had. The piece is a bonus — the two hours of flow are the point.
